Troop 105 Treelot Shift Request Form 2011 - Currently our tree lot is finished

To TROOP and PACK 105 families and friends:

Let me be the first to wish you a MERRY CHRISTMAS! Yes, it’s that time again… time for our annual fundraiser…. the CHRISTMAS TREE LOT! While you haven’t been hearing much about it, let me assure you that we will have a tree lot this year, and we’re all hoping and planning for great success! I would like to let you all know of the following volunteer work schedules.

Please keep in mind that we expect each BOY SCOUT – with a parent – to

work FOUR (4) volunteer shifts
work either during setup (Sat, Nov 19th) OR teardown (Sun Dec, 18th)
help unload the trees when they arrive (Fri, Nov 25th)

Please keep in mind the we expect each CUB FAMILY (regardless of the number of cubs in your family) - with a parent - to

work two (2) volunteer shifts for Tigers, Wolves and Bears
work three (3) volunteer shifts for Webelos
help unload the trees when they arrive -this is not required of cubs but any adult help would be welcome!

TREE LOT VOLUNTEER SHIFTS begin Fri Nov 25th – SCOUTS sign up for FOUR shifts - CUBS sign up for two shifts - WEBELOS sign up for three shifts

Weekend volunteer hours 9am-1pm, 1-5pm, 5-9pm (three families per time slot)
Weekday volunteer hours 6-9PM (two families per time slot)
Last regular work shifts = Sun, Dec 18th 9am-1pm, 1-5pm

I will do my best to honor your requests for the specific shifts but please realize that I am trying to match experienced Scouts and their parents with new Scouts/Cubs and their parents, so you may not get your choices. I appreciate your flexibility!

Also - please keep in mind this is the major fundraiser for our Troop and Pack, and a strong effort from ALL of us makes it much easier!

Shift requests are processed in the order they are received.

There are a limited number of slots available for any shift date and time.

You will be informed if you need to request a different slot due to it being already filled.
